The Power of Focus

One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.-Tony Robbins
Concentration is the magic key that opens the door to accomplishment. By concentrating your efforts upon a few major goals, your efficiency soars, your projects are completed - you are going somewhere. By focusing your efforts to a single point, you achieve the greatest results.
....the power of focus

The first rule of success, and the one that supersedes all others, is to have energy. It is important to know how to concentrate it, how to husband it, how to focus it on important things instead of frittering it away on trivia.  Singleness of purpose is one of the chief essentials for success in life, no matter what may be one's aim.

The giants of the race have been men of concentration, who have struck sledge-hammer blows in one place until they have accomplished their purpose. The successful men of today are men of one overmastering idea, one unwavering aim, and men of single and intense purpose.

Concentration is the key to economic results.... no other principle of effectiveness is violated as constantly today as the basic principle of concentration....Your motto seems to be: Let's do a little of everything.  The jack-of-all trades seldom are good at any. Concentrate all of your efforts on one definite chief aim.
What do I mean by concentration? I mean focusing totally on the business at hand and commanding your body to do exactly what you want it to do.  When every physical and mental resource is focused, one's power to solve a problem multiplies tremendously.

On a final note never forget the words of Anthony Robbins as he puts it, “one of the reasons so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular”, endeavour as much as you can to avoid this anomaly as you live your life.
