When everybody is doing the same thing, there is need to just make it a little bit difference from what used to be.
Your relevance as a leader is to the degree that you are able to add value to your leadership in order to make it uniquely different from what is obtainable anywhere else.
There is a great difference between a Medical Scientist and a diligent Medical Scientist because diligence alone makes the difference. Also, there is a great difference between a doctor and a compassionate doctor. Being a doctor or a Medical Scientist is not just enough, but being a compassionate doctor and diligent Scientist will just do the magic to the patient.
Furthermore, there is a great difference between a speaker and an inspiring speaker. Dishing out inspiration works the magic in the art of speaking. It is not just enough to be a leader, but it could be enough to just be the caring leader.
It is not enough to be a husband to a wife, but being a faithful husband makes the difference.
When you add the adjective to what we do and who we are, you will succeed at changing the world for good.
You are in leadership not to occupy positions but to make progress in moving yourself as well as the people from point A to B within a record time.
Here is the question you need to answer:
In your leadership at the moment, what adjective do you need to add in order to make the difference?
Adjectives are modifiers and/or qualifiers.
